The Weeks was founded in Hamburg in 2021 by Dr. Lea Borgmann. Lea is a health researcher focusing on women's health. During her own postpartum period in 2020, she searched for organic products that didn’t bring eco-charm or baby kitsch into the home - and amidst thousands of wagging fingers and good advice, she could have also used a reminder that she was making good decisions and was an okay mom.
