A little breather for you who have just become a mum. Wild Weeks is an organic postpartum tea, developed in collaboration with midwives and composed of carefully selected herbs that have traditionally been used in the postnatal period. The tea contains, among other things, lady’s mantle, yarrow, shepherd’s purse and nettle, and has a wonderfully fresh, fruity taste with fine notes of lemon. It can be hard to find time to really unwind when you’ve just had a baby, so a clear advantage of this tea is that it also tastes great once it’s gone cold! 😅

This tea also makes a perfect gift to bring along on your first postnatal visit. Remember to do the dishes and run the hoover round while the new mum enjoys a cup!

Product description

Once your baby has arrived, a very special time begins. Your body needs to recover from pregnancy and birth, while you get to know a brand-new little person. In the midst of breastfeeding, nappy changes and sleepless nights, it can be lovely to find small moments that are just about you.

Wild Weeks is an organic herbal tea developed in collaboration with midwives and specially blended for the postnatal period. The blend contains a range of well-known herbs with a long tradition of use in supporting women’s wellbeing after birth.

Traditional herbs for the time after birth

Wild Weeks contains, among other things:

  • Lady’s mantle (Frauenmantel) – a classic herb in European women’s traditions, historically used after birth.
  • Yarrow – a well-known medicinal herb with a long tradition in women’s health.
  • Shepherd’s purse – traditionally used in connection with menstruation and the postnatal period.
  • Nettle – naturally rich in various minerals and traditionally used in herbal teas.
  • Chamomile and lemon balm – aromatic herbs that contribute to the tea’s mild, rounded flavour.

The herbs are combined with, among other things, lemongrass, lemon peel and lemon verbena, which give the tea a fresh and lightly fruity character.

A postpartum tea that actually tastes delicious

Herbal tea doesn’t have to taste like a freshly mown lawn!

Wild Weeks stands out with its fresh lemon flavour and fine balance between mild herbs and fruity notes. It’s created to be a cup of tea you want to drink – not just something you feel you ought to drink.

Enjoy it hot on the sofa with your baby in your arms, or let it cool a little if you prefer a more refreshing cup.

Organic quality – developed with midwives

Wild Weeks has been developed in collaboration with midwives and is produced in Lower Saxony, Germany. All ingredients come from certified organic cultivation.

The tea is supplied as loose tea in a resealable bag, so you can easily measure out the desired amount and preserve the herbs’ aroma.

How to prepare your Wild Weeks tea

  1. Use 1–2 teaspoons of tea per cup.
  2. Pour over freshly boiled water.
  3. Leave the tea to steep for 5–8 minutes.
  4. Strain off the herbs and enjoy your tea.

While the tea is steeping, you can drop your shoulders, relax your jaw and take three deep breaths. A little zen moment in the middle of the newborn bubble.
